Fall Fun

We have been having a great fall!
I am loving this cooler weather especially now that I am in my third trimester,
I am starting to feel large and uncomfortable!
Brooks is a little character,
he's constantly talking!
He loves playing with all his cars and trains,
it's fun to see him take interests in things.
I feel like a broken record but he brings us so much joy!
He is such a fun kid!
We are trying to soak up this time with just him before baby number 2 arrives.
It's sweet time that we will never get back.
However, he is definitely a toddler with a short fuse.
My prayer these days is to have discipline to discipline,
I am learning that it can be so much easier to ignore the behavior,
pretend I didn't see it, make excuses for it,
but I want to be sure I put the hard work in now,
so that hopefully I'll have an easier time in the teen years!
hopefully....
Lord help me!

Your Story

We are currently in a small group with our church,
and we are sharing our life stories,
and as I have been listening to everyone's stories,
there is a common thread,
our parents,
parents are a huge part of every life story,
it's inevitable,
wether good or bad,
they influence us.
And I couldn't help but think about what Brooks story will be 30 years from now,
And Trip and I have so much influence on his story,
I know we won't be perfect,
I know we will make mistakes,
but I pray Brooks will see one day that every choice we make as a family, and as parents,
is an act of love for him and for God,
I pray that Brooks story will reflect us as parents that pushed him toward God and not away from God.
I am thankful that I get to have a part in my childrens stories,
but I am more thankful that ultimately God is the author of their stories.

For a good laugh

My brother just sent me this and it is hilarious!
This girl loves nothing more than a good laugh,
And as much as we love our sweet puppy Piper,
she has a few shameful moments herself!
Enjoy!

On the lighter side...

 Dog Shaming

Piper is growing and growing!
She's a handful at times but I love the way she loves us so much
and she is so stinking cute which makes it all worth it!
